We refuse to upgrade any quad, SSV, or trike that has been previously tuned without respecting the manufacturer's safety guidelines.
Most of the time, this results from installing a downloadable automatic tuning box that shifts or disables safety tables.
Engines with this kind of tuning often suffer from premature wear.

ROTRONIC DYNO

A dyno measures wheel power (whp) using a force sensor on a roller.
Once the run is finished, the operator puts the gearbox in neutral, and the dyno measures how quickly the wheel and roller slow down, allowing it to calculate engine power (hp).

In a “perfect, frictionless world,” the wheel would maintain its speed, and wheel power would equal engine power.
But the bike’s gears, tires, chain or belt, and the moving parts of the dyno itself all create friction, which slows the wheel over time—that’s called transmission loss.

For most vehicles, transmission loss is typically between 10% and 15%, meaning 100 hp at the wheel translates to 110–115 hp at the engine.
Manufacturer power figures are always given at the engine, since during development, engine power is measured on a specialized dyno with no gearbox or transmission in place.
