WHAT IS A "POIVRAGE''.
Our network:
Since 2017, Poivre Noir SA has been the first company in Europe specializing in American engines to independently market their expertise in engine optimization at the dealerships of a manufacturer.
SPICED vehicles:
We guarantee results.
We have modified tens of thousands of parameters to achieve the Poivre Noir Performance Stage 1 that suits you.
We have optimized your engine with great care and in perfect mechanical harmony.
We assure you of safe driving, allowing you to focus solely on the road.
A "Poivrée" Quad/SSV/tricycle is responsive, with a deeper sound even with original exhausts.
Much more enjoyment at low speeds; the engine will run smoothly without hesitation or harshness. Its revs will be linear.
Perfect driving pleasure.
Wonderful torque and power when needed, tailored to each chassis, allowing you to drive sportily without even realizing it.
For two-up riding, the passenger will enjoy improved comfort on the road.
Drivers who want to increase the torque and power of their Quad/SSV/tricycle can choose a high-flow open-type KN filter to appreciate the intake sound and its filtration quality to maximize air intake for the engine.
We refuse to enhance Quad/SSV/tricycles that have had engine tuning that did not comply with the manufacturer's safety instructions. Most of the time, these adjustments result from the installation of open-source automation devices, causing the safety tables to become misaligned, rendering them inactive.
Engines that have undergone this type of tuning have experienced premature wear.
No one can speak of a "SPICED" motorcycle if they have never tried one.
ROTRONIC DYNAMOMETER
A dynamometer measures wheel power (whp) using a force sensor on a roller. Once the test is completed, the operator puts the gearbox in neutral, and the dynamometer measures the speed at which the wheel and roller decelerate to determine the engine power (hp).
In a "perfect and frictionless" world, the wheel, once set in motion, would not change speed, and "wheel power" would be equal to "engine power." However, motorcycle gears, tires, chains or belts, as well as the moving parts of the dynamometer, generate friction, causing the wheel to gradually slow down during the test. This is known as transmission loss.
On a vehicle, transmission loss is generally between 10% and 15%, meaning that 100 hp at the wheel equates to between 110 and 115 hp at the engine. Manufacturer-advertised power figures are always provided "at the engine" and not at the wheel, as engine power is measured directly on a specific engine dyno without a gearbox or transmission.
