METHOD

We assess the existing state of your engine management and make improvements to performance or throttle values while maintaining 100% of engine safety features to prevent premature engine aging.

The comprehensive overview of the information available on your engine's manufacturer's ECU allows us to ensure particularly careful work.

We detect the slightest anomaly and non-concordance of factory values, even down to the checksum, in order to ensure that your ATV is compatible with the manufacturer's diagnostic tools.

Our experience is that we automatically detect ATVs that are already modified by a third party.

Our installers send us the information about your ATV via the PNP TUNE internet server and also provide them with the optimized version of the ECU by our engine engineers.

Once the Poivre Noir Performance recipe is in your engine, you are free to install homologated or sport exhausts, or even to put your original exhausts back. Our custom mapping will adapt in most cases to these variations given the fact that the adaptations we have made to your ECU have added intelligence to the variables that will allow automatic adaptation within a few kilometers.

We take full remote control of the engine ECU with brand-certified professionals, meaning we operate just as if we were physically close to your ATV.

Our specialized installers precisely share your ATV’s configuration with us, along with all the necessary technical sheets and a list of installed accessories. Tests are performed before the vehicle is returned to the customer.

All ATVs that have been optimized or gained power are network-connected by vehicle brand across all our installers worldwide.

All Poivre Noir Performances installers and American motorcycle/ATV builders can restore your vehicle to its original configuration if needed.

Travel with peace of mind — your engine's custom tuning follows you wherever you ride, worldwide. Upon request to our support service (during working hours), we can provide your closest installer with your specific ATV tune — free of charge.

Our ECU work methods avoid the use of add-on boxes or USB keys, which are often misplaced.
