On engine displacements up to 1250, it is advisable to install a Stage 1 air filter and the longest possible exhausts to enjoy better performance.
Opt for high-quality exhausts to ensure your motorcycle remains as efficient as the original.
The iridium spark plugs sold by the manufacturer provide an excellent ignition spark and have twice the lifespan of standard plugs.
Prioritize a high-quality air filter like K&N or equivalent.
Premium unleaded gasoline (SP98) is recommended for its high octane rating to prevent pre-ignition knocking, although SP95 can be used occasionally.
When the engine is cold, it's recommended to allow it to warm up properly before reaching the 3500 RPM zone.
Always turn off the engine after removing your helmet and gloves to circulate cooling oil before stopping.
The best oil for your American engine is a 100% synthetic oil like 10w60. The closest available option that is easy to find is 15/20w60.
There are more than 200 types of mappings for about fifteen engines, so it's important to consider all the nuances and manufacturer recommendations when creating a custom mapping, not only for your configuration but also to ensure longevity.
Choose equipment parts recommended by your specialist rather than buying parts online with uncertain results.
A Stage 1 PN-P tuning is often more effective in general than a Stage 2 with a ready-made setup.
Independent tuners can certainly fine-tune an engine, but they do not have the capacity to work in an international network and cannot handle thousands of motorcycles per year.
Two identical motorcycles, from A to Z, with exactly the same equipment, manufactured in the same week at the factory, could have different road performance. The software in the engine control unit, mechanical part assemblies, and final tuning are the reasons behind this.
STAGES 1_2_3_4
We retain the manufacturer's tables and typology in the value calculation methods without modifying safety.
The quality of the PN-P adjustments and adaptations in Stage 1 does not require a dyno run.
Stages 2_3_4 must be tuned on the road or dyno by the PN-P dealer. All adjustments will be modified based on the information provided to us using specific measurement tools essential for the work we need to perform.
Choose an engine balance that suits your style; opt for torque if you enjoy riding around 2500 RPM or power if you push to the redline.
Stages 2, 3, and 4 are not suitable for everyone. Indeed, an overpowered engine that revs square to its displacement has a high-speed driving behavior. This means that for city and mountain use, we recommend Stages 1 and 2.
The EVOe85® stage is a multi-fuel conversion solution without an additional box.
Approved variable exhausts have not been designed to be sold with Stages 2_3_4.
The restrictions on hot air extraction volumes from the engine will not deliver the expected full power.
We only provide finalized adjustments.
If our partner cannot send us logs to check the complete engine behavior related to the performance parts installed, you should consider a solution with an automation box to have a basic setting.
When an engine's behavior changes due to, for example, a camshaft, power is delivered by two factors: the parts and engine tuning.
Our production capacity is unlimited.

METHOD
We assess the existing state of your engine management and make improvements to performance values while retaining 100% of engine safeguards.
A comprehensive review of the information available on your engine's manufacturer ECU allows us to ensure particularly careful work.
We detect even the slightest anomalies and discrepancies in factory values, going as far as checking the checksum.
Our experience allows us to automatically identify motorcycles that have already been modified by a third party.
Our installers send us your motorcycle's information through a secure internet server, and we provide them with the optimized version of the ECU by our certified engineers in the same way.
Once Poivre Noir Performance's recipe is in your engine, you are free to replace them with homologated or racing exhausts, or even revert to your original exhausts.
In most cases, our custom mapping will adapt to these changes, considering that the adaptations we made to your ECU have added intelligence to the variables, allowing for automatic adaptation.
